"Bomb Threat" - the old terminology.

No longer can we assume that a threatening notice, regarless of how it might be delivered (letter, phone call, Post-it! Note on the fron t door) will be for an explosive device. Just as damaging might be the threat that the water supply is contaminated, or the ventilation system exposed to a life threatening viral infection. Any "notification" that is expected to result in a launch of emergecy procedures must be taken seriously, and followed through with a comprehensive investigation to determine the source.
